Apple is definitely coming out with something new tomorrow. The question is whether it’s actually an iPad Mini.
My bet is that there will be a mini, but I’m also betting that we will also see some other new items. The question is what those additional items will be.
Apple’s macbook air line is definitely overdue for an update, with the last major update in July of 2011, although this could come in early 2013 with the update of the mac pro announced by Tim Cook earlier this year. Apple did update it slightly, but I’m confident that the retina display is coming to the air soon as well as USB 3.0, a 1080p isight cam, and some other updates that will make an already attractive computer even more so.
We could also potentially see the long-awaited Apple TV set which was the talk of all of last year. By the way though, Apple already made a combo TV and Mac.
What else? Who knows. This is Apple, and though their secrecy has waned as of late (they leaked the iPhone 5 and ear pods) they could definitely have some awesome new device up their sleeve. To their credit, there have been very few credible potential info leaks on the iPad Mini.
We know we can expect it to be fast, with 4G LTE, a Retina Display, and dual cameras to absolutely crush the Google Nexus 7, Kindle Fire HD, nook tablet, and other small tablet competitors. Stop by tomorrow for the full recap of what they released.
