My HP Troubles Are Solved!

Lesson learned for me. I thought everybody at HP did not care at all for their customer. I made a crazy amount of phone calls trying to explain my problem, but no one would listen. It turns out that you just need to find the right person. There are some kind, caring people at HP if you can find them. I’m a member of the Gnomie Club, so Chris Pirillo forwarded my plea for help to his friends at HP, and they helped me, and satisfied me as a customer. There are good people out there! If you want more details because right now I feel that i’m being a little vague, let me know below and I will put up a new, more detailed article. :) .

And Happy leap day! (below is Leap Day William)

Time, Date, Location of ipad 3 Product Release Confirmed

It’s confirmed. Apple has sent out invites to the ipad 3 event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on March 7th at 1PM EST. I’m psyched to see what new tech they will be unveiling. Based on the wording and imaging of the invitation(see below), it is nearly confirmed that the ipad 3 will have a retina display, and it is sure to be something fantastic. What could be so special about the touch in this latest product release. Feel free to leave your interpretations on what this could mean below. Stick around for more details.

Travel Without Technology Really Sucks

Hey fellow nerds. I recently flew on Continental Airlines, and for the first time in years I was carrying neither my iphone, nor my Macbook Pro. The only technology I had was my ipod nano, and it was buried in my bag. To make things worse, I didn’t have my wallet to pay for TV because I left my wallet on the last plane and CO found it but refused to bring it to me (because it was too long of a walk for the workers).

Since we were stranded on the plane through a two hour delay, and the free TV preview was 15 minutes long, I sat there for a good 2+ hours missing my iphone.

Three of my four flights were delayed, and honestly I can’t comprehend how I survived without my phone in the past. Crazy. That’s my story. What is your travel nightmare? Leave the story in the comments section, and I’ll feature it in a future post on the same subject. In conclusion, Thank you to Continental for leaving us there for two hours while they failed at solving a mechanical problem without even giving us free TV while we waited. I asked the flight attendant, and he said it was automatic, and therefore not possible. Of course, he gave us free TV once we switched aircraft. I love the histeria of Travel. Goodbye and Good Riddens to Continental Airlines. See y’all later.

Apple Begins 25 billion App Countdown- Who Will Win?

As the Apple ios App Store closes in on 25 billion apps, millions of geeks are vying to win. I know the winner of the 1 billion app contest, and I can tell you the prize is sweet. In this case it is going to be a $15,000 ITUNES giftcard for one lucky winner. At press time the count was at 24.792 billion apps. If it moves at an average pace, the contest will end in 11 days, but the pace of download has drastically increased since the launch of the app store on July 10th of 2008. I am determined to beat you all out by the way.

Just to put the giftcard in perspective, it could buy 14,423 average priced apps. It could rent 15,151 TV shows, or buy you an equivalent number of songs. If you bought songs on the rare occasion that Apple offers songs for $.69 you could buy 21,739 songs. This giftcard is going to keep one nerd/audiophile/cinophile very, very, busy. Good luck, and see you soon.
